The Association "FRIENDS OF JAZZ AND CREATIVE MUSIC" celebrate this year its tenth anniversary. In Collaboration with the Cultural Center Vafopouleio of Thessaloniki they organize the second festival of alternative music and the tenth Jazz Festival.

3rd GYPSY JAZZ FESTIVAL-DJANGOFEST- Athens 22 & 23/9/2012 - Lampidonas Park in Bironas. With great joy the Greek gypsy jazz community announces the 3rd Festival of Athens.The festival will be held in the pine park Lampidonas (Agia Triada) in Bironas, for the first time with free entrance on 22 and 23 September 2012.
Tinos jazz festival 2012, JAZZ VISIONS, will be held from August 24 to 26. This fourth edition presents international & Greek top musicians as well as Greek new talent, You may expect highest quality, surprising discoveries, shimmering experiences, warm moments ... music that will remain with you. For musicians, artists and the public, Tinos Jazz Festival is a musical adventure in a relaxed festival-atmosphere. The Tinos Jazz festival is organized by an active cultural foundation, helped by motivated staff members, capable and voluntary, related to a lot of precious friends, and all of this in the heart of the Agean Sea.
Two Jazz concerts, four other music concerts, one painting and sculpture group exhibition, and one children's narrative performance are combined harmoniously again this year in the eight events included to the program of Megaro Gyzi Festival 2012, for the 6th year under the artistic direction of Yannis Papaconstantinou.
The Agrinio Jazz Festival after the first successful event in the Garden Theatre at Agrinio on August 2011, give us a new appointment for August 28-29 2012 .This year , the festival propose a richer program with artists from Greece and abroad and with parallel events in differents venues.
The artists of the 2nd Agrinio Jazz Festival will share their knowledge, experience but also their love for jazz music through workshops.The workshops are open to everybody and not only musicians but also people who like to make a first acquaintance with jazz.
The Sani Festival will this year be celebrating its 20th anniversary. Faithful audiences can look forward to a feast of musical events, specially organized to mark the occasion. The festival this year will be hosting exclusive performances by figures from the international music scene, like Ahmad Jamal and the prince of African blues and authentic representative of world music, Ismael Lo. There will also be rising stars, younger musicians who have already achieved international recognition, like the Armenian pianist Tigran Hamasyan and the leading European bassist Lars Danielsson. The latter will be showcasing his latest project, Liberetto, to be performed for the first time in Greece, accompanied by leading figures in European jazz such as Yaron Herman and Magnus Ostrom.
