With twenty creative years behind it, the Sani Festival is now entering a new age, full of renewed energy and initiatives which promise a future even richer in wonderful music !

If a picture is worth a thousand words, the new Sani Festival logo — a beating heart — is the perfect illustration of our vision: an inexhaustible passion for the arts, expressed through ambitions and new initiatives which continually raise the level of our own and our audiences’ expectations.

Our objectives have always been ambitious, and every year so far the success of the Festival has far outstripped our original expectations. It is only natural, with a record like this, that we should continue looking ahead, seeking new ways to renew the Festival experience while remaining faithful to the highest aesthetic standards.

And so this year, with unabated enthusiasm and passion — the best way to confront the current crisis —the Jazz on the Hill programme will be featuring prominent female vocalists, with appearances by some of the top performers in international jazz, like the sensational China Moses, daughter of the famous jazz singer Dee Dee Bridgewater (12/07), the unique Cassandra Wilson (13/7) and Madeleine Peyroux (14/7), followed on 20/7 by the Belgian world-music composer Myriam Alter, who draws on her cultural roots in the Sephardic tradition.
