Richard Bona, the Cameroon bass guitarist will be responsible for opening this edition on 5 November, which will be followed by around twenty concerts, among which the performances by the María Schneider Orchestra, Mike Stern Band or The John Scofield & Joe Lovano Quartet can be highlighted. The debut of the British crooner, Anthony Strong will put the finishing touch to the Festival with the presentation of his latest album.
The programme is rounded off with concerts by Esperanza Spalding at La Riviera, and by Louis Sclavis & Vincent Courtois at the French Institute, as well as a series of conferences, film screenings and over thirty concerts in the Sabor a club programme of the live music halls association, La Noche en Vivo.
An invitation to listen to and enjoy jazz, in which melodies from different styles and cultures will come together at a festival in which new talents will also shine.
