On 6 April 2011 the Recording Academy announced a major overhaul of many Grammy Award categories. From 2012, the number of categories will fall from 109 to 78. Some categories will be discontinued, others will be merged or renamed. Regarding jazz two categories will be removed : the Best Contemporary Jazz Album and the Best Latin Jazz Album Dictionnaire

American documentary film about the turbulent life and career of jazz trumpeter Chet Baker written and directed by Bruce Weber. Let's Get Lost had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 1988.

The film is a tribute to the life and music of jazz saxophonist Charlie "Bird" Parker.
