Rhodes Jazz Festival 2016 - This international jazz festival is growing to be a unique 2 day event at St. Paul’s Gate, inside the medieval Castle of Rhodes. Artistic director Dimitri Vassilakis is presenting for the 2nd year running young and talented Greek jazz musicians, many of them from the island of Rhodes, together with more established names of the Greek and international scene, for an exciting new jazz festival in an amazing location. This 2nd Rhodes Jazz Festival is organized by Rhodes Municipal Organization of Culture and Sports, and the South Aegean Region-Department of Culture.

“On The Rhodes” - Young jazz ensemble from the music schools of Pallini and Rhodes play with talented local musicians from the island and the new generation of jazz players in Greece.

Takis Barberis ensemble - Unique combination of 2 of the best guitar players in Greece in jazz ethnic and classical idioms together with a rhythm section from Rhodes featuring Nikos Hasapis an experienced drummer and educator at Rhodes music school.
