Sokratis Sinopoulos Quartet - Sokratis Sinopoulos’ Constantinopolitan lyre and quartet scatter to the eight winds, spiriting us along with them on journeys to different musical crossroads. Sokratis Sinopoulos was born in Athens, Greece. He studied classical guitar while taking lessons in Byzantine music and folk song at I.Tsiamoulis’ school where he sang with the school children’s choir. In 1988 he started studying Lyra and Lute with Ross Daly and a year later he joined his group “Labyrinthos”. In the last twenty years Sinopoulos has collaborated with composers, musicians and singers from Greece and abroad in various genres, from folk music to jazz, participating in countless concerts and recordings all around the world. In 1999 he was honored with the Melina Mercouri national award for young artists. In 2011 he created Sokratis Sinopoulos Quartet. The debut album of the quartet, eight Winds was produced by Manfred Eicher for ECM records and was released in September 2015.

In Duologue (Alexandra Lerta - Vassilis Stefanopoulos ) - ”InDuologue” is a musical dialogue between a Voice and a Double Bass that introduces you to an acoustic kind of jazz listening.The two interpreters blend their sounds in such a way that makes their music feel intimate and distinctive, almost as if it was directed to each listener personally.

Dinosaur is one of the most vital and creative new ensembles in the UK today. Led by trumpeter & composer Laura Jurd, Dinosaur features keyboardist/inventor Elliot Galvin, the effortlessly rooted Conor Chaplin on electric bass and the forever creative Corrie Dick on drums. Now in their seventh year, the band has performed throughout the UK and Europe including the Berlin Jazz Festival, Jazz Sur Son 31 in Toulouse and Jazzahead in Bremen. They have recently completed an 8-date tour of Ireland produced by Music Network. (Laura Jurd, winner of the prestigious Dankworth prize for composition at only 19 and, at 21, the first woman in nearly 20 years to take the Worshipful Company of Musicians' jazz award )
