International recording artist, Alexia Vassiliou released her latest Jazz album, "Birds Have to Fly", with music by Peter Massink, and lyrics, singing, and production by Alexia.

Peter worked with Alexia in 1996 on Alexia's 1st Jazz Album, "In a Jazz Mood" by Sony-BMG, where she performs "SPAIN" and "Soft and Gentle" alongside Jazz Legend, Chick Corea. Alexia is one of 3 singers to have recorded “Spain” accompanied by Chick Corea, the other two being, Al Jarreau and Bobby McFerrin. Alexia is also the only female vocalist to have recorded Spain with Chick Corea.

"Birds Have to Fly" brings Alexia and Peter together again. Since the albums release in Greece, 'Birds Have to Fly' reached #9 on the TOP 20 JAZZ ALBUMS on iTunes Greece, next to albums by Nina Simone and Miles Davis.
