One of the most famous drummers worldwide, Ralph Peterson comes to Nakas school of music for drum workshop on June 23, 2015 - 19:00 at Nakas School of Music — ippokratous 41 Athens 210 3634000. Ralph Peterson played with Art Blakey and the Jazz Messenger Big Band from 1983 until the death of Blakey. In 1985 he began playing with pianist Walter Davis Jr. and trumpeter Jon Faddis. The recording and touring with big names of jazz, as Terrence Blanchard, Branford Marsalis, Stanley Turrentine, David Murray, The Count Basie Orchestra, Betty Carter and Michael Brecker carried his name around the world.

He was a great figure of American blues ... Pianist Pinetop Perkins died at the age of 97 years. He had just received a Grammy Award for his latest album, "Joined at the Hip", recorded with one of his old friends, Willie 'Big Eyes'Smith. Born in the cotton fields of Mississippi, Pinetop Perkins had played with Big Joe Williams, Sonny Boy Williamson and of course Muddy Waters.
