Konstantinos Stouraitis was born in Rhodes in 1991 and started playing the guitar at the age of 14. In 2009 he enters the Ionian University, Department of Music and graduates in 2014. In 2011 he joins the Baby Trio, a trio led by his professor, internationally acclaimed musician George Kontrafouris, with whom he performs in clubs and festivals around Greece and Europe. He has recorded two albums with Baby Trio, Urban Jazz (Puzzlemusik, 2012) and Slow Blade (Chicken Coup Records, 2015) including his original compositions in the second album.In 2014 he represents Ionian University at the International Assocciation of Schools of Jazz with his professor Dimos Dimitradis in Cape Town. He has studied the guitar with Yiotis Samaras, Vassilis Rakopoulos, Makis Stefanides, Grigoris Danis, Peter Bernstein and has attended workshops with Jorge Rossy, Barry Harris, Joe Martin etc.
He has performed with many acknowledged greek musicians such as :
Alkinoos Ioannidis, Kostas Konstantinou, Spyros Panagiotopoulos, Pantelis Benetatos, Andreas Polyzogopoulos, Vasilis Xenopoulos, Antonis Andreou, Dimitris Tsakas, Dimitri Vassilakis, Seraphim Bellos etc.
