Blues Band

Hoochie Coochie Men, a blues band, was founded in Corfu in May 2012 by four gifted students of the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University. They tend to experiment based on the blues tradition. They perform classic, modern music and their own compositions. Some of their influences are: Stevie Ray Vaughan,Freddie King,Junior Wells,Memphis Slim,Muddy Waters ,Elmore James ,Derek Trucks,Bernand Alisson,Luther Alisson,Tom Waits ,Jimmy Smith,Herbie Hancock etc. Their live perfomances in Corfu, Ioannina and Athens made a very good impression.
