CELEBRATING 15 YEARS OF UNIQUENESS – Dubai Jazz Festival from 22 to the 24th of February 2017 for the 15th edition; Three days packed with international acts from all music genres — with a cool hangout experience in a unique atmosphere at Festival Park, Dubai Festival City.


Al Jarreau, the jazz-pop musician best known for the hits “Breakin’ Away,” “We’re in This Love Together” and the theme song to the popular 1980’s TV show, “Moonlighting,” died Sunday, in Los Angeles. He was 76.


The Berlin International Film Festival 2017 opened with the world premiere of Etienne Comar’s directorial debut Django, a biopic of jazz legend Django Reinhardt, starring Reda Kateb.


For the second consecutive year, guitarist John Scofield won the Grammy Award for best instrumental jazz album. Gregory Porter, already sacred three years ago, has triumphed in the vocal jazz category. Check out the full list of jazz nominees and winners .

It was a song about injustice, and it would change her life forever.
