In Perugia from July 7 to 15, 2017. Umbria, the green heart of Italy, has been a home to that incredible music called jazz for almost forty years.
Back in 1973, the year the festival started, no one could have imagined the role that it would go on to play on the music scene, in Italy and abroad. Today Umbria Jazz is a name that is known and respected all over the world, an important stage in the career of any artist, and a point of reference in the world of music and music festivals.
Since that first edition of the festival many things have changed, but not the festival’s spirit and identity that, together with its top-quality programmes, have been at the heart of its success.
