The sweet sound of jazz under the apple trees… The 36th Jazz Music Festival “Jazz sous les Pommiers” will take place from May 20 to 27, 2017.
The “Jazz under the Apple Trees” Festival in Coutances offers the opportunity to take a relaxing stroll to the soothing sound of live jazz music. The festival’s program grew out of extensive teamwork, debates and discussions: The festival organisers compared and contrasted their musical tastes, creating a wide thematic with new, innovative and fresh ideas.
Experience the jazz latest acts, unseen in France and even Europe; with big names alongside new young talents; with groups of all sorts, from duets to concert orchestras. A program which sometimes makes for unorthodox combinations of artists is what give this festival its character and originality.
