For 11th year in row, the Band Festival opens up career opportunities for young groups.THE LIVE PERFORMANCES of the festival will be held at Philippos Nakas Concert Hall from 12 to 15 March 2014. The Semifinals will be held from Wednesday 12 to Friday 14, with the participation of about 20 bands, six to eight of which will be selected to perform in the Grand Final, on Saturday, March 15.

The events start daily at 7 p.m. Admission is free.

The bands taking part at the Festival are competing for:

music instruments valued at 2.300 Euros

scholarships for studies at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory

recordings by SAE Greece

contract with Final Touch recording company

production of a video clip and collaboration with MTV Greece

Three new prizes are established for the ‘Top Performers’ of the Band Festival:

‘BEST KEYBOARDIST’ wins a YAMAHA MOX F6 SYNTHESIZER valued at 1.122 €

‘BEST DRUMMER’ wins a YAMAHA STAGE CUSTOM DRUMS valued at 1.122 €

‘BEST GUITARIST’ wins a YAMAHA PACIFICA-611 GUITAR & a YAMAHA THR-10 AMPLIFIER valued at 993 €
