APPLYING A SAMBA SCHOOL ON THE DRUMSET – November 24, 2013 at Panepistimiou 64 – Athens-Greece – Tel. +30 6977353054 (active from 20/11) – Participation’s fee 20€
Christos Asonitis organises a workshop for drummers and not only on his home studio in Athens-Greece. He will show the function and the role of traditional instruments of Samba Schools and how we transport and imitate them on the drumset (throw and catch technique, Brazilian 16th notes, samba coordinations for the drumset, Brazilian brushing). All information received directly from its source (Rio de Janeiro, 2011). Printed materials for all participants will be available. Classes of 3-4 participants. Every class will last 1,5 hour. The classes begin from 11.00 am.
