The Art Center in Votanikos !
Beton7 was founded November 2009. It is a Center for the Arts based in Athens, Votanikos area, five minutes away from Keramikos Metro station.
Beton7 aims to promote cross-cultural communication in every area of contemporary art (including visual arts, theatre, music and cinema) within an emerging art neighbourhood of Athens.
Beton7 main contribution is the promotion of young artists by establishing the necessary conditions for them to create and present new work.
During the last 5 years, Beton7 supports intensively the local and international music scene, specially jazz, ethnic jazz, funk and fusion. Important jazz musicians are hosted systematically on Beton7’s stage / theatre as well as on Beton7artradio, under the curation of Lucas Dimitrellos. In the building facilities, there is an art bar where you can enjoy your drink during or after any live or event you attend.
