Spyros Manesis, known in Greece from his work with various jazz projects, presents now his new project for solo piano inspired by Lena Platonos's music. In this project, Spyros fashions a special interpretation of this important composer/songwriter's music, and creates bridges between her original recordings and his own musical world, in which the classical/romantic tradition exists together with the jazz idiom

George Kontrafouris jazz pianist & organist with an international career and probably the leading and most restless figure of his generation on the Greek jazz scene, Professor at the jazz department of the Ionian University, and the Artistic Director of Tinos Jazz Festival presents the fifth edition of Tinos Jazz and discusses his impressions of life, music, and jazz education.

George Trantalidis is the living history of the Greek jazz : one of the major figures of the Greek jazz scene. He started his career playing with the rock group Socrates. In 1978, he records the first Greek Jazz music record with the “Sphinx”. He was the first to merge Greek traditional music with Jazz in his records. Jazzonline has met him to discuss about his impressions of music, and jazz.

Christos Rafalides can't remember a time when he wasn't surrounded by music. He found his personal voice as a player and composer when he established 'Manhattan Vibes', a jazz group with a modern sound, which revealed his developing affinity for Latin and other world music. He was last summer at the first Kozani Jazz Festival next to Hector Martignon (2008 Grammy Nominee for Best Latin-Jazz Album of the Year ).He talked to Jazzonline for an exclusive interview.

The Next Step Quintet was created in the fall of 2011 by five young and talented musicians with an average age of 25 years. In Spring 2013 they signed their first album and got great reviews. Jazzonline has met them for an exclusive interview.

Nikolas Anadolis is one of only 5 jazz pianists who have been awarded the Grand Prix de la Ville de Paris (=1st prize) of the prestigious Concours de piano-jazz Martial Solal in October 2010, a worldwide jazz piano contest taking place only once every 4 years. Αndreas Polyzogopoulos and his band “Poly Quartet”, wins the first place in “Motives for Jazz” competition in Belgium in 2008 with the album “Perfumed Dreams”. Andreas appears on 40 records, has performed all over Greece and Europe and in 2010 was a member of the European Youth Jazz Orchestra. Since 2011 he lives between Paris and Athens. Jazzonline met him for a little chat.
