George Trantalidis is the living history of the Greek jazz : one of the major figures of the Greek jazz scene. He started his career playing with the rock group Socrates. In 1978, he records the first Greek Jazz music record with the “Sphinx”. He was the first to merge Greek traditional music with Jazz in his records. Jazzonline has met him to discuss about his impressions of music, and jazz.
Christos Rafalides can't remember a time when he wasn't surrounded by music. He found his personal voice as a player and composer when he established 'Manhattan Vibes', a jazz group with a modern sound, which revealed his developing affinity for Latin and other world music. He was last summer at the first Kozani Jazz Festival next to Hector Martignon (2008 Grammy Nominee for Best Latin-Jazz Album of the Year ).He talked to Jazzonline for an exclusive interview.

Αndreas Polyzogopoulos and his band “Poly Quartet”, wins the first place in “Motives for Jazz” competition in Belgium in 2008 with the album “Perfumed Dreams”. Andreas appears on 40 records, has performed all over Greece and Europe and in 2010 was a member of the European Youth Jazz Orchestra. Since 2011 he lives between Paris and Athens.
