Once a year you have the opportunity to win a scholarship by taking part at the auditions at Philippos Nakas Conservatory. Get closer to your dream to study at Berklee, the most important college for modern music worldwide. For 22nd consecutive year the Philippos Nakas Conservatory organizes the Berklee scholarship auditions for Greece. Thus a series of events take place during Berklee’s faculty visit.

There is no better place to prepare for a career in contemporary music than Berklee. Perhaps the best evidence of this is the success of the college’s outstanding alumni. To date, 100 Berklee alumni have received 253Grammy Awards, popular music’s highest honor.


On Thursday 11 February everyone interested can attend the following:

17:00 Admissions information Session (Ana Calvillo). Come and learn about Berklee College of Music, about our programs, how to apply, be consider for scholarships and our long connection with the Berklee International Network founding partner the Philippos Nakas Conservatory.

18:30 Road Map for the Composer and Arranger (Jason Camelio)
This presentation will reveal some techniques and strategies to help songwriters, composer and arrangers accomplish that all-important goal of completing their piece of music.

20:00 Vocal Performance Clinic (Christine Fawson)
Master vocalist and trumpeter, Christine Fawson, will review tips and techniques to help vocalists and instrumentalists effectively convey their musical message. It is also a great opportunity for rhythm section players to learn more about accompanying vocalists.


Scholarship auditions:
will take place on Friday 12, and Saturday 13 February, 2016.
